DESC=This package contains additional documentation for the Clam AntiVirus anti-virus toolkit for UNIX. It provides a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner, and a tool for automatic updating the virus signature database via Internet. Furthermore it contains milter-clamav, an anti-virus filter for sendmail completely written in C, which can be used to scan incomming as well as outgoing mail for known viruses on the fly. The virus database is based on the virus database from OpenAntiVirus.org, but contains additional signatures (including signatures for popular polymorphic viruses, too) and is kept up to date.
