NetBackup Archive Source Options

Use this screen to provide configuration variables to be used for this XML import that will take precedence over NetBackup default settings. The fields on this screen are optional.

Specify the archive to be imported by supplying Keyword for selection the archive phrase and dates (in the Date Range From and Until fields). If the combination of search criteria results in more than one archive being selected, the most recent archive will be imported.

You can also specify the Server name and Client name used for the original archive to be imported. Client name can be used to import into a database on a different client than where the original archive occurred. In this case, Client name should be set to the original client where the archive occurred, and the import operation should be performed on the new client.

Click Import directly into Oracle to automatically import the archive into the database.

Click Restore XML files to directory if you want to restore the archive to a directory instead of into the database. You must then supply a full pathname for the Restore Directory.

If you only want to restore the XML Schema to the directory, click Restore XML Schema Only. The Restore XML Schema Only option will restore the master XML schema (.xsd) document for the archive and the table specific schema (.xsd) documents that were created (one for each table). These files contain the descriptions of the archive including the original parameters used to create the archive and the metadata including data types and constraint information for each table.
