Catalog Backup Configuration

The Catalog Backup Wizard leads you through the configuration of the catalog backup. This includes specifying when the catalog is backed up and to where it is backed up. If desired, you can back up the catalog to alternating destinations.

Backing up the catalog is essential, since the catalog contains information about the NetBackup configuration and the files that have been backed up.

You must configure a catalog backup before backing up any other data.
