Policy Configuration

The Backup Policy Configuration Wizard assists you in defining a backup policy for a group of one or more clients. This includes specifying the following:

• When the backups are to take place
• Which files are to be backed up
• The clients that are to be backed up
• General attributes that define how the backup is performed.

After finishing this wizard, the Getting Started wizard gives you the opportunity to test the NetBackup configuration by initiating an immediate backup based on the installation process you just completed.
