Running the Wizard to Update Your Configuration after a Device Change
This is a NetBackup Enterprise Server topic.
Rerunning this wizard updates the Media Manager configuration. For example, adding a new SCSI adapter may change the path to a robotic library. A similar change to the configuration may occur if you add a new drive. This wizard updates the Media Manager configuration to match the new configuration.
If you have added or moved devices on some device hosts in your configuration, you need only check those hosts where changes were made.
Note
You can select all device hosts in your configuration, but the wizard will execute faster if you select only the hosts that are affected by your changes.
