If You have Devices That Do Not Support Serialization

  To configure these devices

You may be able to use one of the following methods to configure these devices:

• Use the Drag and Drop Configuration screen of the wizard.

See Completing Your Configuration.

• Use the Device Configuration wizard for part of the steps and then complete the configuration using the NetBackup Administration console.

See Shared Drives in ACS Robots and Shared Drives in TLM Robots.

• Use the Shared Drive wizard. This wizard does not require device serialization.

  To view any warning messages

You may have configuration warning messages for the device that you are trying to configure.

1. If the Limitations column for a device contains Yes, see limitations, select the device.
2. Click Limitations to view any messages.
