Media Manager Storage Units

If the wizard detects removable storage devices (robots or drives) and storage units are not defined for these devices, the wizard can create NetBackup storage units of type Media Manager for them.

You can also change certain default values for the Media Manager storage units that will be created or for existing storage units. See Changing the Default Values for Media Manager Storage Units.

  To have the wizard create Media Manager storage units

The wizard sets default values for the storage unit. See Default Values for Media Manager Storage Units for the default values that are used.

• Check the box next to the storage units (shown in the list) that you want created.
