Default Values for Media Manager Storage Units

A Media Manager storage unit is configured with the following default values:

• On demand only = no.
• Maximum concurrent drives used for backup = 1.
• Maximum multiplexing per drive = 1.
• Maximum fragment size = infinity. The maximum fragment size specifies (in megabytes) the largest fragment that NetBackup can create when storing backups. This setting is normally used to ensure that the backup does not exceed the maximum size allowed by the file system.
