Wizard LimitationsThis wizard is compatible only with hosts that are running NetBackup releases 4.5 or later. This wizard configures volumes for standalone drives and robots, but does not support the configuring of volumes for the following devices.
A robot is considered to have more than one type of drive if the media written in any one drive cannot be read and written in every other drive. This includes drives that are different versions of the same family of drives. For example, a robot with a Quantum DLT7000 and a DLT8000 drive has different drive types. In this example, the DLT7000 drive is of DLT type and this drive cannot read tapes written in the DLT8000 drive. The DLT8000 drive is of DLT2 type and the drive can read tapes that were written in the DLT7000 drive. The group of Media Manager API robots.
