Catalog Backup Wizard
The Catalog Backup Wizard guides you through the configuration process, simplifying it by automatically choosing settings that are good for most configurations. If you are modifying an existing configuration or want access to all available configuration settings, use the manual method.
Catalog backups are required for NetBackup to protect NetBackup internal databases. The catalogs contain setup information as well as critical information about client backups. Catalog backups are tracked separately from other backups to ensure recovery in case of a server crash.
