Checkpoint Restart for Restore JobsCheckpoint Restart for restore jobs saves time by providing the mechanism for NetBackup to automatically resume a failed restore job from the start of the file last checkpointed rather than from the beginning of the entire restore job. The checkpoints are taken once every minute during a restore job. Checkpoint Restart for restore jobs is enabled by default, requiring no additional configuration. However, there are two configurable settings that impact Checkpoint Restart for restore jobs:
