DESC=This package contains the java packages (incl. source) required to access the PROJ.4 library functions via the Java Native Interface (JNI). The PROJ.4 library provides several functions to convert geographic longitude and latitude coordinates into cartesian coordinates by means of a wide variety of cartographic projection functions. For many of the projection functios the inverse conversion can also be performed.
